corporate history

1951

Founding of Chemische Gesellschaft in Münster as a subsidiary of Westfalen-Lippe e.G. central dairy cooperative.
Beginning of manufacture of glucose products.

1956

Introduction of the intact trademark: the classic glucose role with "twirly ends."

1966

Start of distribution of glucose concentrates exclusively in pharmacies under the "intact trademark."

1980

The intact brand with a market share of about 60% is the market leader for glucose products in pharmacies.

1995

Moved into the current corporate headquarters at Hessenweg 10. The Wolfgang-Borchert-Theater moved into the former (listed) building.

2000

Expansion of contract processing for renowned customers (among them Nestlé, Procter & Gamble, GSK, Wrigley).

2002

intact expands its exports with the Impact brand. By now, Impact is available in many countries throughout the world.

2003

Successful certification under IFS 3 (International Food Standard)

2006

Takeover of intact GmbH by Humana Milchunion Verwaltungs GmbH.

Takeover of the nutritional supplement specialist BIOLABOR GmbH & Co. KG Bremen by Humana Milchunion Verwaltungs GmbH.

2007

Merger of BIOLABOR GmbH & Co. KG into intact GmbH. Concentration of production and distribution at its site in Münster.

Introduction of the Leben's brand, sold exclusively in pharmacies.

2008

Founding of intact Hong Kong Ltd.,
a purchasing and distribution company to secure strong growth in Far East markets.

2009

Renamed as sanotact GmbH

2010

Shareholding in danish company B11B to expand and strengthen the private label segment.

2011

Fusion of Humana Milchindustrie GmbH and Nordmilch GmbH to DMK Deutsches Milchkontor GmbH.
