How much lactose is in quark, yogurt and skyr?
The lactose content in quark, yoghurt and Skyr varies depending on the type of product and the manufacturing process. The content of low-fat quark is often higher than that of higher-fat versions because the water content – and therefore the lactose – is higher.
| Type | Lactose content in g / 100 g |
|---|---|
| Los-fat quark | approx. 3,2-4,1 g |
| Quark | approx. 2,7 g |
| Yogurt | approx. 3,7-5,6 g |
| Skyr | approx. 3,5-4,5 g |
