Which lactase tablets do I take?
Basically there are different forms of lactase tablets. The dosage of the tablet plays a particularly important role: Depending on how much lactose is contained in a meal, a lower or higher FCC unit can be selected. The tablets also differ in how they are released, i.e. how quickly and how long they work.
Which lactase tablet should be chosen depends on the application. Tablets with smaller doses, such as our Lactase 4,500 Direct or Lactase 7,000 Direct, are good for enjoying in between meals. The lactase works immediately and can easily be taken several times a day. Chewable tablets are particularly practical for spontaneous enjoyment. The sanotact® Lactase 13,000 Express, for example, is a chewable tablet that works from minute 1. In addition, with its practical metal box, it fits into any (trouser) pocket, so that it can be worn on a man or woman at any time as a savior in an emergency. If you don’t want to worry about eating foods containing lactose for several hours, the best option is to take a high-dose lactase tablet with a sustained release effect. The sanotact® Lactase 24,000 6h Depot works immediately and for up to 6 hours.
