Beauty from within

Visible health
An attractive appearance and a positive charisma are always a reflection of inner balance and contentment. And vice versa: Looking good also promotes well-being! Clean skin, shiny hair and healthy fingernails convey vitality and vigour at first glance. They are primarily the result of an intact metabolism because natural beauty from within requires that our body has a good supply of the necessary nutrients it needs to build healthy skin, hair and nails. A radiant appearance is therefore, at least in part, a question of the right diet!

Brewer’s yeast

The best of beer without any alcohol

No beer without brewer’s yeast! According to the Purity Law of 1516, brewer’s yeast is one of the only permitted ingredients, along with barley, water and hops. It is what gets the brewing process going in the first place. However, in order to make the beer last longer and to be able to transport it over long distances without any loss of quality, it has been filtered out again afterwards for about 50 years.

However, it is precisely this yeast that contains a real treasure trove of vitamins. It is not for nothing that it has been considered the secret of many women for beautiful skin and hair for generations. The yeast cell can be compared to a biological reservoir in which this variety of important nutrients is accumulated. By supplying the body with valuable vitamins of the B-complex, such as biotin, brewer’s yeast can contribute to beauty and health!

In the past, when most beers were still served unfiltered, all the nutrients made their way into the beer glass too. But, despite filtration, no one has to do without brewer’s yeast and its valuable ingredients! The filtered brewer’s yeast is further processed into brewer’s yeast flakes or brewer’s yeast tablets. These products make it possible to supplement our diet with all the valuable vitamins and thus support our natural beauty from the inside without any alcohol.

Ingredients of brewer’s yeast

Nutrients stored in nature

With its natural ingredients, it is a real insider secret: For generations, women have sworn by brewer’s yeast to maintain beautiful skin and hair. It is considered the natural product with the highest content of vitamin B1 (thiamine) and is also a natural source of other important B vitamins such as folic acid. Vitamin B1 contributes to normal energy metabolism, helping cells to function properly. Biotin contributes to the maintenance of normal skin and hair.

In addition, the brewer’s yeast cell consists of at least 40% protein and its most important components, the essential amino acids. This complex and natural combination of nutrients is crucial to the value of brewer’s yeast as a natural and valuable nutritional supplement for healthy skin and hair. It can also help to compensate for increased nutrient requirements during physical and nervous stress, as niacin supports the normal function of the nervous system and riboflavin (vitamin B2) contributes to energy metabolism.

The valuable ingredients of brewer's yeast

As a natural food, dried brewer’s yeast provides most of the vitamins of the B-complex.

Vitamin B7, better known as biotin, contributes to normal energy metabolism and thus ensures that cells function properly. It also helps to maintain normal skin and hair to keep it naturally beautiful.

Interestingly, the effects of these nutrients have been scientifically tested and proven by the European Food Safety Authority. Claims are regulated throughout Europe by the Health Claims Regulation.

Frequently asked questions

How long do you have to take sanotact® brewer’s yeast products before the first positive effects are visible?
The time it takes for the first positive effects to be visible in the skin and hair varies from person to person. Experience shows that it takes at least 4 to 6 weeks. During the first few weeks, the skin may temporarily become less clear. This condition should be taken as a positive sign of an active skin metabolism. As a contribution to healthy, normal skin, sanotact® brewer’s yeast products are best taken regularly as a supplement to the diet.
Over what period of time can sanotact brewer’s yeast products be consumed?
Since sanotact® brewer’s yeast products are food supplements, i.e. a foodstuff, they can be consumed without any concerns for an unlimited period of time. Foodstuffs are subject to very strict legal requirements in Germany. These requirements state, for example, that food must not endanger the health of consumers in any way.
Are sanotact® brewer’s yeast products also suitable for children?
In principle, sanotact® brewer’s yeast products can also be consumed by children from the age of 4. If children have difficulty swallowing the tablets, sanotact brewer’s yeast flakes are a suitable dosage form. The flakes can simply be sprinkled over finished dishes (e.g. salads or soups) or stirred into drinks such as smoothies.

Further questions:

Are sanotact® brewer's yeast products gluten-free?

The brewer’s yeast products from sanotact® are based on natural brewer’s yeast from the brewing process of beer. Malt is one of the ingredients used in the brewing process. Therefore, our brewer’s yeast products contain gluten.

Do sanotact® brewer's yeast products contain lactose?

Our sanotact® brewer’s yeast products are lactose-free.

Do sanotact® brewer's yeast products contain animal ingredients?

The tablets and flakes are 100% natural products of non-animal origin, suitable for a vegan diet. The brewer’s yeast used for the products is isolated from beer during the brewing process in a complex process. In Germany, malt, water, hops and yeast are used for this brewing process. The original sanotact® brewer’s yeast tablets and flakes are based on pure brewer’s yeast without any other additives and carry the V-label of the European Vegetarian Union. This seal of quality identifies vegetarian or vegan products and guarantees that neither the product nor the manufacturing process contains or uses animal ingredients.

Are sanotact® brewer's yeast products genetically modified?

Our sanotact® brewer’s yeast products are free from genetically modified ingredients.

How many litres of wheat beer meet the recommended daily dose of sanotact brewer's yeast tablets?

According to the breweries, one litre of wheat beer contains about 60 mg of yeast.

The recommended daily dose of 15 sanotact® brewer’s yeast tablets contains 7.5 g dry yeast. This means that approximately 125 litres of wheat beer contain as much yeast as the recommended daily dose of 15 sanotact® brewer’s yeast tablets.

Is the consumption of sanotact brewer's yeast recommended for an elevated uric acid level?

We advise against the consumption of sanotact® brewer’s yeast if uric acid levels are elevated. The tablets naturally contain purines, which are converted into uric acid in the body. The purine content in all yeasts, and thus also in brewer’s yeast, is too high for the consumption of these products to be compatible with a low-purine diet recommended for elevated uric acid levels. In case of doubt, consult your physician.

Can sanotact® brewer's yeast be consumed in the case of a candida infection?

Only inactivated yeast which is no longer alive is used for our sanotact® brewer’s yeast products, so brewer’s yeast can also be taken as a dietary supplement in the case of an existing Candida infection. In case of doubt, consult your physician.
