Brewer’s yeast
The best of beer without any alcohol
No beer without brewer’s yeast! According to the Purity Law of 1516, brewer’s yeast is one of the only permitted ingredients, along with barley, water and hops. It is what gets the brewing process going in the first place. However, in order to make the beer last longer and to be able to transport it over long distances without any loss of quality, it has been filtered out again afterwards for about 50 years.
However, it is precisely this yeast that contains a real treasure trove of vitamins. It is not for nothing that it has been considered the secret of many women for beautiful skin and hair for generations. The yeast cell can be compared to a biological reservoir in which this variety of important nutrients is accumulated. By supplying the body with valuable vitamins of the B-complex, such as biotin, brewer’s yeast can contribute to beauty and health!
In the past, when most beers were still served unfiltered, all the nutrients made their way into the beer glass too. But, despite filtration, no one has to do without brewer’s yeast and its valuable ingredients! The filtered brewer’s yeast is further processed into brewer’s yeast flakes or brewer’s yeast tablets. These products make it possible to supplement our diet with all the valuable vitamins and thus support our natural beauty from the inside without any alcohol.
Ingredients of brewer’s yeast
Nutrients stored in nature
In addition, the brewer’s yeast cell consists of at least 40% protein and its most important components, the essential amino acids. This complex and natural combination of nutrients is crucial to the value of brewer’s yeast as a natural and valuable nutritional supplement for healthy skin and hair. It can also help to compensate for increased nutrient requirements during physical and nervous stress, as niacin supports the normal function of the nervous system and riboflavin (vitamin B2) contributes to energy metabolism.
The valuable ingredients of brewer's yeast
Vitamin B7, better known as biotin, contributes to normal energy metabolism and thus ensures that cells function properly. It also helps to maintain normal skin and hair to keep it naturally beautiful.
Interestingly, the effects of these nutrients have been scientifically tested and proven by the European Food Safety Authority. Claims are regulated throughout Europe by the Health Claims Regulation.
